Trail Blazers Keeping Guard Around
The Portland Trail Blazers have signed Kris Dunn to a second 10-day contract.
During his first 10-day deal with Portland, Dunn averaged 7.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 5.2 assists. Those certainly are solid numbers from a player on this kind of contract, so, understandably, they are giving him another chance from here.
Dunn also comes with a decent amount of NBA experience, so that also has to be helping his case, too. In 237 career games between the Minnesota Timberwolves, Chicago Bulls, Atlanta Hawks, and Trail Blazers, the 28-year-old has averaged 8.2 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 4.1 assists.
At this point of the season, Portland has a 27-45 record. With this, there is no risk in them taking another chance on Dunn with this second 10-day deal. Let's see if he can continue to perform this well from here.
