Warriors Get Big Steph Curry Injury Update
A new round of medical imaging on Stephen Curry's sprained foot ligament has provided an update to his status, and the Golden State Warriors are breathing a sigh of relief.
According to an MRI done Friday, Curry's status has been updated to be "re-evaluated in two weeks." The clean MRI result seems to mean that the Warriors and Curry may have dodged a bullet. The possibility of Curry returning before the playoffs is very real.

Of course, every Curry injury around his ankle is scary for the Warriors, as he suffered a number of ankle-related injuries earlier in his career.
The incident occurred when the Boston Celtics' Marcus Smart landed on Curry's lower leg while diving for a loose ball.

Warriors' coach Steve Kerr can be clearly seen admonishing Smart after the play, telling him, "You can't do that, Marcus!"
The Dubs are currently in the 3-seed in the Western Conference, and with a 3-game lead on the Utah Jazz and Dallas Mavericks, there's hope that they'll be able to hold on to that spot for the playoffs.
