Milwaukee Bucks Waive Forward
DeAndre' Bembry's time with the Milwaukee Bucks is over, as the team has waived him.
After being waived by the Brooklyn Nets earlier this season, Bembry signed a contract with the Bucks for the remainder of the year. Yet, after only eight games played with the Bucks, he suffered a torn ACL and MCL, so he will be out for the remainder of this season. Thus, it ultimately makes sense that the Bucks have decided to release him to open up another roster spot.
In his eight-game stint with the Bucks, Bembry averaged 0.8 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 0.8 assists. With that, he averaged 9.6 minutes per night, so overall, he didn't receive the most amount of playing time.
Due to the severity of his current injuries, Bambry is expected to miss a good amount of next season, too. It will be intriguing to see how much that impacts him finding a new home in the NBA from here.
