Two to three weeks is the historical timeline of an injury of this sort, according to reports. The Suns are currently tied with the New Orleans Pelicans at 1-1 in their first-round playoff series.
Pels head coach Willie Green is taking the latest report with a grain of salt, however. He was an assistant with the Suns last season when Booker played right through a hamstring injury during the NBA Finals, so he's apparently warned his players to expect him back sooner, sources said.
Booker has missed games on a couple of other occasions due to hamstring issues in the past couple of seasons, including 7 games missed back in November from a hamstring strain of his left leg. Overall, Phoenix managed an 8-6 record this season in games Booker did not play.
