NBA Rumors: Here's The Head Coach LeBron James Would "Be Very Enthused" About
The Los Angeles Lakers have begun their coaching search, and there have been some big names already rumored to be on their list. But according to NBA Insider Sam Amick, there's one candidate that seems to have captured LeBron James's attention.
"Sources say James would be very enthused by the prospect of Mark Jackson landing the job," writes Amick in The Athletic.

Jackson, an NBA analyst on ESPN, coached the Warriors from 2011-2014.

Jackson, who was an elite point guard for 17-years, is No. 5 on the NBA's All-Time assists list. As a coach, he is often much-maligned by NBA fans; he was the man at the helm who took the Golden State Warriors to the brink of championship contention during the first half of the last decade, only to be relieved of his duties and watch Steve Kerr take them over the top. Jackson took over a 23-win Warriors team in 2011-12, and took them to a 51-win team just two years later.
However, it's not known how much input LeBron would have into the choosing of a new head coach. We all know how his insistence to bring in Russell Westbrook last summer worked out.
A bombshell rumor floated on Monday had the Lakers interested in recent NBA Champion head coach Nick Nurse of the Toronto Raptors, while other names like Quin Snyder and Doc Rivers have also cropped up.
