Pacers Sign 2 Players To NBA Contracts
Duane Washington and Terry Taylor have each earned promotions from the Indiana Pacers, as they each have signed a standard, multi-year NBA contract.
Although Washington was on a two-way contract with the Pacers this season, he has seen a good amount of NBA action. In 46 games with the team, he averaged 9.6 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists. Overall, he has done pretty well throughout this season, so it certainly makes sense that they are giving him a standard NBA deal from here.
Like Washington, Terry has also played a decent number of games with the Pacers this season, too. In 31 games with the NBA squad, he has averaged 9.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.2 assists. With numbers like these, the 22-year-old guard should continue to be a solid depth for the team from here.
Nevertheless, congrats to these two rookies for landing themselves NBA deals. It will be intriguing to see how they each perform from here.
