Rudy Gobert Experiences Swelling After Bee Sting Incident
Rudy Gobert got stung on the nose by a bee from the hive he owns at his house. There’s some swelling, but he can see fine. “There were seven guys, and I was the only who came out,” he joked to open his media availability.

This act of betrayal from one of Gobert's bees has led to some swelling to Gobert's nose and right eye area, as can be seen from a photo that he posted to his Instagram Story.

He's still able to play Game 6 tonight vs. the Mavericks pic.twitter.com/ofqCX5Qg9u
Despite the facial swelling, Gobert is still good to go to play in Game 6 against the Mavericks, which is great news for a Jazz team that will need him if they want a better chance at forcing a Game 7.
In light of this incident, Gobert had no hard feelings towards his tiny, honey-making friends. On the contrary, he actually took the time to explain all of the benefits that come with beehive ownership.
Rudy Gobert on owning a beehive: "There’s a few things. It’s good for the environment, it’s good for the landscape, the flowers, the fruits. And I love honey, so I always wanted to have my own. It’s great. Sometimes there’s some casualties."

Even with Gobert's buzz-worthy defense for his beehive possession, it doesn't sound like Charles Barkley will be joining him in owning bees anytime soon.
"Bees are not a pet man!"
