Trail Blazers Sign 2 Players For Rest Of Season
The Portland Trail Blazers have signed Drew Eubanks and Kris Dunn to contracts for the remainder of the season.
Since signing his several 10-day deals with Portland, Eubanks has emerged as the team's starting center. Without much surprise, this extra playing time has allowed him to put together the best play of his NBA career thus far. In 18 games with them, he has averaged 14.1 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 1.8 assists. With numbers like these, it's fair to state that he has earned the chance to stay. In fact, perhaps they could even look to keep him around for next season, too.
Dunn has also been a nice surprise for the Trail Blazers so far, too. In 11 games with the club, he has averaged 8.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 5.4 assists. That isn't bad production at all from a player on 10-day contracts. It will be interesting to see if he can keep up for the remainder of the year.
Nevertheless, with all the injuries that Portland is dealing with, it certainly makes sense for them to keep both Eubanks and Dunn for the rest of the season.
