Trail Blazers Sign Big Man
Although the Portland Trail Blazers only have one game remaining this season, they are not done making roster moves. They are bringing back Reggie Perry on a hardship deal.
Perry has played eight games for Portland this season and has been pretty effective during them. He has averaged 8.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 0.9 assists. With that, he has held a pretty big role, as he has played 18.0 minutes per contest. Now, he will have the chance to build on these numbers for one last game with Portland.
This is a big opportunity for Perry to leave a strong last impression. It seems possible that the Trail Blazers could be open to keeping the 22-year-old around past this season. If he has a strong final game, that should help his chances of that coming to fruition.
Alas, it will be intriguing to see what happens with Perry from here. Yet, at least for now, he has landed himself at least one more game as a member of the Trail Blazers.
