"What The F**k Are We Here For?!": Pelicans On Their Huge Upset
Not many observers gave the New Orleans Pelicans a chance to take even a single game from the NBA's best team all season long, the Phoenix Suns.
But strange things can happen in the playoffs. Just ask Larry Nance Jr. of the Pelicans, whose 8th-seeded team just defeated the top-seeded Suns to even their series at one game apiece. Their upset victory was no shock to him.

“What the f**k are we here for? Ain’t nobody rolling over,” said Nance as he bolted off the floor after their 125-114 win. Brandon Ingram poured in 37 points to go with 11 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the Pels.
It takes an insane level of skill to hit this many tough shots in a playoff game. Brandon Ingram is different. pic.twitter.com/lIxonoB4Qb

Andrew Lopez of ESPN reports that Nance has a message for Ingram before every game: "You're the best player on the floor."
That was especially true on this night after the Suns lost their superstar Devin Booker to a hamstring injury in the 3rd quarter. He'd scored 31 points in the first half.
But no matter to the Pelicans, they're riding with Ingram all the way, with full belief that he is "the man". "I just want to make sure he knows this whole team is rocking with him," said Nance Jr. "Missed shot, made shot, turnover, good pass, bad pass. I don't care. I'm rocking with him. Hopefully, that boosts his confidence. I want that sky high."
And for Brandon Ingram right now, it certainly is.
