CJ McCollum Joins Draymond Green In Exclusive Club
When Draymond Green joined the Inside The NBA crew as a player-analyst, he was in a unique club by himself as an active player also working in the national media. Add the New Orleans Pelicans' CJ McCollum to that list now, as he has officially signed on with ESPN, and will be joining the broadcast crew as an analyst for the NBA Finals this week.

McCollum can now add ESPN analyst to his resume which also includes NBPA President. And oh yes, star shooting guard for the Pelicans.
This shouldn't come as a surprise to those who know of McCollum's background, as noted by the Associated Press: The 30-year-old is a Journalism graduate of Lehigh University, and he's made other guest appearances on ESPN as an analyst in the past.
“I am excited to bring what I feel is my unique perspective, based on my vast knowledge of the game that I’ve gained during my nine years as a player in the NBA,” McCollum said in a statement. “To have an opportunity to put my journalism background to use on the largest stage with the many talented professionals at ESPN is a dream come true.”
He'll also work with the sports network on developing a new podcast.
