NBA Rumors: Cavaliers Linked To Big Man
According to Aris Barkas and Stefan Djordjevic, the Cleveland Cavaliers are interested in signing Chinanu Onuaku.
Onuaku has spent the last handful of seasons overseas, as he has played in Korea and Croatia. Yet, this campaign he's been with Bnei Herzliya and has been making a big impact. Thus, it is understandable why the Cavaliers are now being linked to the big man.
Onuaku also previously played in the NBA. In six career games with the Houston Rockets, he averaged 3.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 0.7 rebounds. Although the sample size is limited and he hasn't played in an NBA game since the 2017-18 season, he is playing well enough that he could return for the 2022-23 season. Let's see if the Cavs end up being the club that signs him.
