Brooks was ejected in Game 2 after committing a flagrant foul penalty 2 on Warriors guard Gary Payton II.
The Grizzlies wing took an irresponsible swing at an airborne Payton's head, which led to an unsettling crash to the floor. The hard fall resulted in a fractured elbow for the Warriors guard, who will be out for at least three weeks.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr called out Brooks' actions as "dirty" and added that "he broke the code."

Dubs fans have been clamoring for Brooks to be suspended for a lengthy period, but it seems like the league is punishing the Canadian for just one game.
Nonetheless, this series is turning into a physical one just two games in. Draymond Green was ejected in Game 1 due to getting a flagrant foul two as well after he smacked Brandon Clarke in the face and pulled down on his jersey while going for a layup.
NBA Twitter was also up in arms for that call, as most people didn't think Green deserved the ejection.
This best-of-seven series, now tied at 1-1, shifts to San Francisco for Game 3. Expect more fireworks to come as these two Western Conference elites go at it again this Saturday.
