Zach LaVine Has Knee Surgery
Hard to tell from looking at the stats, but Zach LaVine was not at full strength in the latter stages of the 2021-22 season, as he battled a painful knee injury for most of the second half of the year. The decision was made that arthroscopic surgery would be a necessity to clean things up. Today, that procedure was successfully completed.
Injury Update: Zach LaVine underwent successful left knee arthroscopic surgery on today at the Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute in Los Angeles.

LaVine is expected to make a full recovery.
The All-Star guard is expected to make a full recovery before next season. But which team will get the benefit of that refreshed knee joint is still uncertain, as he now enters free agency. There's been no shortage of rumors about his possible destination.
LaVine did tear the ACL in the same knee five years ago, but these new knee problems are not expected to deter any of his suitors. The Bulls, in fact, have said his surgery will have no impact whatsoever on their negotiations, and their desire to re-sign him.
The Chicago Bulls are very confident that they can re-sign Zach LaVine, per @KCJHoop on @mullyhaugh.
