Jazz To Hire Youngest Head Coach In The NBA
Utah Jazz CEO Danny Ainge has done his due diligence, with a long and extensive search for the team's new head coach. Today, the Jazz have come to an agreement to hire Boston Celtics assistant Will Hardy, and make him the youngest head coach in the NBA.
Will Hardy and the Jazz are finalizing a five-year contract to make him the franchise's next coach, sources tell ESPN. Hardy, 34, will be the youngest active coach in the NBA. https://t.co/uISUNbadGJ

It'll be a five-year contract for the 34-year-old.
Hardy certainly learned from the best, cutting his teeth as an assistant under San Antonio Spurs' legendary head coach Gregg Popovich. He spent five years under Pop, then moved to the Celtics this past season to serve under Ime Udoka.
Ainge led an exhaustive search to find the replacement for Quin Snyder, who stepped down earlier this month. The candidates included former NBA head coaches, top assistants, G League coaches and former players.
Hardy takes over a team likely in transition, with the potential trade of cornerstone center Rudy Gobert on the table.
