As reported by MacMahon, Wall will sacrifice $6.5 million of his $47.4 million salary this upcoming 2022-23 season.
Wall did not play the entire 2021-22 season as the Rockets looked for a possible trade partner willing to take in his massive contract.
The Clippers have expressed interest in the 5-time All-Star in the past and are now likely to land him through free agency.
L.A. figures to return to contender status as their two stars Kawhi Leonard and Paul George come back healthy next season. They also have a deep supporting cast following their acquisitions of Norman Powell and Robert Covington at the deadline.
Now they could add another former All-Star in Wall to further deepen their squad.
