Lakers Sign 2 Players
The Los Angeles Lakers are signing Scotty Pippen Jr. and Cole Swider to two-way contracts.
Pippen Jr. will of course grab the attention of basketball fans, as he is the son of Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen. The 21-year-old went undrafted, but will now have the chance to try to begin his career as a Laker. In 36 games this season with Vanderbilt, he averaged 20.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 4.5 assists.
Swider, on the other hand, spent the 2021-22 season with Syracuse. In 33 games with the team, he averaged 13.9 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists.
