Miles Bridges Arrested On Eve Of Free Agency
This is not what the basketball world was hoping to be talking about as free agency opens at 6:00pm. One of the top (restricted) free agents available, Miles Bridges, has been arrested on a felony domestic violence charge.
TMZ reported that the Charlotte Hornets forward was arrested and turned himself into a local jail regarding an alleged physical altercation that happened on Tuesday.

A woman claimed an argument with Bridges turned physical, and she had to be treated with medical attention.
The 6'7", 225 pound forward was set to be a much-sought-after restricted free agent, in search of a max contract. The Hornets are not releasing any statement, as they look into the matter.
Just yesterday, the Hornets insisted they were going to bring Bridges back, although rumors have swirled they did not want to offer him the max. How this terrible situation affects all of that is unknown, and frankly, unimportant until we can be sure that the woman involved is going to be alright.
