NBA Rumors: 2 Teams Seen As Most Likely Destinations For Rudy Gobert
The Rudy Gobert sweepstakes are continuing in Utah. And according to NBA Insider Marc Stein, two teams seem to be emerging as the most likely destinations.
As "Trader Danny", CEO Danny Ainge, is said to be willing to trade anybody on the roster not named Donovan Mitchell, Gobert is of course the biggest trade piece he wields.
Stein had said in his Spotify Live chat on Monday that the Chicago Bulls are the team to watch.
"I'm not sure if Rudy Gobert is getting traded but I think most people would say Chicago at this point is the closest thing there is to a likely destination."

The Bulls are clearly looking for a major defensive upgrade, as they've also been linked today to another staunch defender, this one from the free agent market.
Now Stein provides an update on the Bulls, however, noting that he was "strongly advised after that Spotify chat that the Bulls have ongoing reservations about pursuing a Gobert deal."
He then added that the real team to watch just might be the Toronto Raptors, a team that values defense as much as any in the league.
Toronto remains a team to watch if the Jazz indeed trade away the league's foremost interior defensive anchor.
Stein adds that it's not a lock that Gobert gets traded this summer, but discussions are certainly being had, and a trip to the Eastern Conference seems like it might be in the offing for the three-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year.
