NBA Rumors: Big Man Most Likely On Trade Block For Hawks

There are a lot of teams having very preliminary trade discussions around the league right now, but according to one NBA Insider, one team, the Atlanta Hawks are much farther along.

According to Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, "the only team I hear about that’s ready to talk trade right now is Atlanta.”

And the player, in particular, that they're ready to talk about, is power forward John Collins. There was a lot of talk about Collins at this year's trade deadline, and it's ramping up again now in the offseason.

"I'm very prepared for Atlanta to make some kind of big move," said Fischer on the Dunc'd On podcast. “There was someone I talked to today who had just spoken to Atlanta in recent days who said that John Collins is clearly the guy that they are most interested in moving."

There's definitely more juice to a John Collins trade compared to most other players in the league (right now)."

Fischer says the Portland Trail Blazers are the team to watch.

"Someone today told me that if Portland offered the 7th pick, (the Hawks) would do it straight up."
