NBA Rumors: Kings Changing Tune On No. 4 Pick
Last week, we heard from the presumed No. 4 pick in Thursday's NBA Draft, Jaden Ivey, and his thoughts about going to the Sacramento Kings. But the Kings are not flinching. At least that's the word being put out by Shams Charania:
Draft News from The Athletic:

"The Kings are becoming increasingly comfortable drafting at No. 4 in Thursday’s draft and have described a steep price for teams behind them in the lottery who are attempting to trade up, sources said."

Now certainly, this could be a smokescreen put out by someone in the Kings' organization, in order to drive up the price for that No. 4 pick. They've certainly had plenty of interest from a number of teams looking to move up to pick Ivey—the top point guard available in the draft.
Those teams have included the Detroit Pistons, Washington Wizards, New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers.
The Kings wouldn't have to drop far in a deal with the Pistons or Pacers, who own the No. 5 and No. 6 pick respectively. The Knicks and Wizards, in particular, are in desperate need for a dynamic young point guard, and perhaps the Kings can extract just a bit more from those teams, who can still send Sacramento a decent pick in return (No. 11 and No. 10, respectively).
