NBA Rumors: Mavericks Looking To Bring In Doncic's Countryman
When the Toronto Raptors brought in Goran Dragic at the beginning of last season, everyone knew he didn't want to be there. But what we all thought at the time, was that after he left Toronto, he would be eventually joining his Slovenian National Team compatriot Luka Doncic in Dallas.
That didn't happen, as he decided to join the Brooklyn Nets, in an ill-fated (very ill-fated) attempt to win a championship. Now, word from NBA Insider Marc Stein is that the Dallas Mavericks may try to right that wrong.
"Sources say Dallas -- while prioritizing its need for more wing help -- does intend to explore the possibility of signing Goran Dragic this summer."
This would surprise no one of course, as the Luka-Goran union has been talked about incessantly for a couple of years now—no matter what language you speak.
