In a move that wasn't completely unexpected, the Orlando Magic will be declining their team option on Mo Bamba, making the 23-year-old center an unrestricted free agent.

Two teams looking for an elite rim protector are said to be interested in bringing in the 7-footer, says Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, naming the Chicago Bulls and the Toronto Raptors.
The No. 6 overall pick in the 2018 Draft, Bamba finally moved into the starting lineup in Orlando and had his best year this past season, averaging 10.6 points, 8 rebounds, a very impressive 38% from three-point range, and 1.7 blocks.
But before the Raptors and Bulls can start their bidding, Fischer also notes that “After Paolo Banchero’s selection at No. 1, there’s also motivation on both sides for Bamba and the [Orlando] Magic to agree to terms on a new deal, sources said.”
