NBA Rumors: More Smoke For The OG Anunoby Sweepstakes

Whether or not there's any chance that the Toronto Raptors would trade one of their core pieces, OG Anunoby, there's certainly been interest expressed on the market. In fact, according to Bleacher Report's Jake Fischer, "most of the people I've talked to in the league have suggested that OG would bring in a pretty big haul... It seems like there's some juice there... He seems to be very available."

There are up to four teams now that have been linked to Anunoby interest, with Denver and San Antonio being the latest.  

But Fischer has added even more smoke to the fire burning under the Portland and Utah rumors. He says that Blazers star Damian Lillard sees OG as a great get for them. 

“Portland is definitely targeting OG," says Fischer. "He’s definitely said to be someone that Lillard wants to pair with.”

As for the Jazz, Fischer says "Utah has had conversations – I think they’ve even had conversations with Toronto, (though) I don’t want to say there’s been offers made."

As for the rumors of Anunoby's dissatisfaction with his role in Toronto, Fischer reiterates that "that’s been repeated across the board from everyone I’ve talked to — from people within his representation, to coaches who’ve worked with him in the past, to general people in the league who would know, let’s say. And that’s the one word that everyone consistently agrees on, that he wants more opportunity, and it doesn’t seem like a clear path to having that in Toronto.”

OG himself isn't noted for being very talkative or prone to gossip, so it's unlikely we'll be hearing anything from him to clear up any of these rumors.
