Nets and Jazz Complete Trade
While the Brooklyn Nets are having some HUGE trade conversations about where to send superstar Kevin Durant, they're still making some moves around the edges as well. They've announced a deal with the Utah Jazz today for small forward Royce O'Neal.
The Nets are acquiring the Jazz's Royce O'Neal in a trade for a 2023 first-round pick, sources tell ESPN.

Brooklyn sends a 2023 first-round pick to Utah in exchange. It will be the lesser of their own pick, Houston's or Philadelphia's which the Nets also own.
The 28-year-old O'Neal will make $9.2M and $9.5M over the next two seasons, and the Nets will be using the $11.3M trade exception from the James Harden trade to get this deal done.
O'Neal averaged 7.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and shot 39% from behind the arc for the Jazz this season.
Not sure if the acquisition of O'Neal would have changed KD's mind about moving on (just kidding here), but he will add another floor spacer on the perimeter for the Nets.
