Pacers GM Offers Myles Turner Trade Talk Update
The Myles Turner trade talk has been ramping up once again this offseason, with several teams said to be in the mix. Today, Indiana Pacers GM Chad Buchanan appeared on Indiana sports radio, however, to set the record straight.

As we’ve been writing, Turner is extension-eligible until June 2023 as he enters the last year of his current contract.

"We are not actively shopping Myles Turner,” Buchanan said. “At this point in our offseason process, we are listening to other teams that contact us, but we are in no hurry to massively alter this roster."
Recent reports had the Minnesota Timberwolves, Toronto Raptors and Charlotte Hornets interested in the 26-year-old shot-blocker supreme.
Turner averaged 12.9 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.8 blocks in 42 games last season. His season was cut short, however (which may have subverted the Pacers' plans to trade him at the deadline in February), due to a stress reaction in his left foot.
The 7-year veteran will earn $17.5M this coming season, then become an unrestricted free agent.
It's possible, with his expiring contract, that he could find himself on the trade block once again next February.
