Prince appeared in 69 games for the Timberwolves this 2021-22 season, averaging 7.3 points and 2.5 rebounds in just over 17 minutes per game.
The 28-year-old was traded to Minnesota during the 2021 offseason after spending half a season with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Retaining a solid rotational piece like Prince is a good way to establish continuity, especially for a team seeking to have sustained success for years to come.
Minnesota made the playoffs for the first time since 2018 and just the second time since 2004.
The Timberwolves look to carry the momentum from a strong 2021-22 campaign heading into the upcoming season.
