With that, Bledsoe will only receive $3.9 million of the $19.4 million he was slated to get had the Blazers guaranteed his deal past July 10.
The 32-year-old enters the free agent market and should gauge some interest from teams looking for a veteran defensive guard.
This past season, Bledsoe averaged 9.9 points and 4.2 assists in 54 games with the Los Angeles Clippers.
The Clippers then traded him at the trade deadline to the Blazers. However, he did not play a single game for Portland.
On March 28, the Blazers let the former Kentucky Wildcat sit for the rest of the season due to pain in his left Achilles.
