Celtics Sign Center

The Celtics have signed Mfiondu Kabengele to a two-way contract.

Kabengele spent the 2021-22 campaign with the Rio Grande Vipers of the G League. In 25 games, he averaged 17.5 points and 9.3 rebounds per contest. Overall, it was a pretty solid year for Kabengele, which is likely why he has earned this two-way deal with Boston.

In 51 career games between the Clippers and Cavaliers, Kabengele has averaged 2.7 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 0.4 assists.
