Martin averaged career-bests of 9.2 points and 3.8 rebounds while shooting over 50 percent from the field in his first season in Miami.
With Martin, the Heat secure a solid who can score and defend.
The 6-foot-5 wing became a revelation off the Heat bench as Miami dealt with injuries and COVID all season long. He played 60 games and averaged nearly 23 minutes per contest.
Martin spent the first two years of his career with the Charlotte Hornets, where he played with his twin brother Cody.
The Heat are among Kevin Durant's trade destination wish list. The Nets superstar shocked the basketball world when he requested a trade from Brooklyn last week.
