Jazz Sign Italian Forward
The Utah Jazz have reportedly signed Italian forward Simone Fontecchio to a two-year $6.25 million deal, per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. Regarded as the best international small forward by ESPN's Jonathan Givony, Fontecchio last played with Baskonia in the Spanish league, Liga ACB.

In 39 games at the Liga ACB, Fontecchio averaged 12.5 points and 4.0 rebounds while shooting 46.8 percent from the field and 41.8 percent from three. In the EuroLeague tournament, he averaged 11.0 points and 4.4 rebounds, while shooting 40.2 percent from beyond the arc.
The 26-year-old declared for the 2015 NBA draft but eventually withdrew. He later went undrafted in 2017.
