NBA Rumors: Lakers ‘Big 3’ Have Phone Chat
Amidst rumors of dissension between LeBron James and Russell Westbrook, a new report from Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports says that James, Westbrook and Anthony Davis have had a pow-wow of sorts, over the phone, to get on the same page.

According to Haynes, the Los Angeles Lakers' 'Big 3' "huddled up on a phone conversation the first weekend of NBA Summer League in Las Vegas with each expressing their commitment to one another and vowing to make it work."
While Westbrook, who has an expiring $47M contract this coming season, has not requested a trade, the recent parting of ways with his agent, who had wanted Russ to stay with LA, is seen as a step in that direction.
The phone chat amongst the three was done in an attempt to ensure that they "were on the same page as long as they’re joined together in their pursuit of a championship," wrote Haynes.
Nevertheless, trade rumors continue to swirl around Westbrook, with an interesting new team possibly entering the mix, according to Marc Stein.
