Nets' Sophomore Disses Head Coach Steve Nash

It's been a rough year for Brooklyn Nets head coach Steve Nash. At this time last year, he was expecting to have a championship-caliber team with a 'Big 3' of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and James Harden.

After scraping into a Play-In spot, and then suffering a first-round sweep out of the playoffs, he might enter this coming season without any of those 'Big 3'. And now, even little-used sophomore player Cam Thomas is clowning him in a televised Summer League postgame interview.

After pouring in 26 points and handing out 7 assists in a win over the Milwaukee Bucks' Summer League team, Thomas was told by a reporter that Nash said "he's encouraging you to look for your shot and your teammates."

Thomas immediately rolled his eyes, and replied "It is what it is."

Nash took a lot of heat from Nets fans during the disappointing 2021-22 season, now he's even getting it from his troops. Yikes.

The 20-year-old Thomas played less than 18 minutes per game in his rookie season, scoring 8.5 points, while registering 2.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game.
