The Nuggets acquired Caldwell-Pope along with guard Ish Smith this offseason from the Washington Wizards in exchange for Will Barton and Monte Morris.
Caldwell-Pope brings championship experience to a Nuggets team that is looking to contend with back-to-back MVP Nikola Jokic leading the way.
KCP has established himself as a solid 3-and-D role player. He would be a terrific fit playing next to The Joker.
Denver will get their two stars Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. after both missed most of the 2021-22 season.
Murray sat out the entire campaign as he continued to recover from a torn ACL. Meanwhile, Porter only got to play nine games before shutting the season down due to a nagging back injury.
