The 6'3" Dowtin averaged 16 points and 4.3 assists in about 28 minutes per game in the Las Vegas summer games, while shooting 57% from the field, and 36.4% from three. His 4.3-to-0.5 assist to turnover ratio was stellar.
The numbers echo the dominance he showed in the G League this past year, when, in 22 games, he averaged 20.9 points and 6.6 assists, on 55.6% shooting, including 43.2% from long-range.
Dowtin also played a total of nine NBA games this past season, starting out with the Golden State Warriors, before being waived after four games. He signed 10-day contracts later with first the Milwaukee Bucks, then the Orlando Magic.
The 25-year-old was signed to the Raptors' second two-way contract for the coming season; Ron Harper Jr. holds the other.
