The deal is worth $6.8M for the 19-year-old Minott. He averaged 6.6 points and 3.8 rebounds per game in his one college year at Memphis. But that's far from telling the story of what he can do.
He's a 6'8" athletic forward who plays both ends of the court. He impressed enough at Summer League this month to earn the 4-year pact. He contributed across the board, averaging 12.3 points, 9.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.5 blocks while shooting a blistering 45.5% from the three-point line in Vegas.
The Timberwolves have one more roster spot to fill.
