Celtics Forward Injures Knee In International Play
Boston Celtics forward Danilo Gallinari suffered an apparent knee injury during Italy's World Cup qualifier versus Georgia. According to NBA insider Marc Stein, there is fear that Gallinari's injury might be serious.

Fortunately, initial tests on Gallo's knee show his ACL is intact, per Shams Charania of The Athletic. He will get an MRI on Sunday to confirm the diagnosis.

The Italian's knee buckled while driving to the basket on the fastbreak. He immediately clutched his knee and writhed in pain.

Gallinari signed with the reigning Eastern Conference champions after getting waived by the San Antonio Spurs, who acquired the 34-year-old in the deal that sent Dejounte Murray to the Atlanta Hawks.
