John Wall Reveals Tragic Personal Issues
While many of us shrugged off John Wall last season, as the Houston Rockets told him to stay home and collect his $44M, no one was aware of the mental health demons he'd been facing after a set of tragic circumstances in his personal life.
He recently opened up about some of the details:
“I thought about committing suicide. Tearing my Achilles, my mom passing, my grandma dying a year later, in the midst of COVID. Me going to chemotherapy, sitting by my mom taking her last breaths wearing the same clothes for 3 days straight.”

“I thought about committing suicide," Wall revealed. "Tearing my Achilles, my mom passing, my grandma dying a year later, in the midst of COVID. Me going to chemotherapy, sitting by my mom taking her last breaths wearing the same clothes for 3 days straight.”
Fellow NBA stars have reached out to Wall to give him their support.

Wall also talked about how he's seen a therapist who has helped him through the troubled times, and that he has been smiling much more as of late.
A happy John Wall should make Los Angeles Clippers fans smile as well. Wall joins forces with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George this season for what should be a strong Western Conference contender.
