The deal is expected to go through Thursday morning.
With this, Beverley returns to Los Angeles, this time on the Purple and Gold side of things. The 34-year-old previously spent four seasons with the Clippers from 2017 to 2021 before playing the 2021-22 season with Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Timberwolves traded Beverley to the Jazz to acquire All-Star big man Rudy Gobert.
With Beverley, the Lakers get a 3-and-D guard who could provide energy and hustle, especially on the defensive end.
Pat Bev previously had spats with the Lakers during his time with the Clippers. But now, he gets to experience being on the other side of the fence and playing alongside LeBron James, while donning the Lakers colors.
