NBA Rumors: Donovan Mitchell Reveals 3 Preferred Trade Destinations
Donovan Mitchell is now clearly the top name on the trade block as we head towards the season, and the Utah Jazz are continuing to try to extract as much as they can, be it from the New York Knicks, or any of the other 5 teams that are said to have interest.
But if Mitchell himself has any say, he has now revealed the three destinations that he'd be interested in, if he were to be traded.
If Donovan Mitchell were to be traded, his preferred destination would be one of three places, sources tell @Tjonesonthenba.

The Knicks, Nets or Heat.

Per Tony Jones of The Athletic, while Spida hasn't yet asked for a trade, his preferred landing spots would be the New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets or Miami Heat.
All three of those teams, at one time or another, have been linked to Mitchell rumors; the Knicks, of course, have been front and center for two months.
As of Thursday morning, however, "the Jazz have multiple offers on the table for Mitchell from teams other than the Knicks that they deem intriguing and worth pursuing, according to sources," writes Jones.
The Miami Heat could now shift their focus to Donovan Mitchell, per the Sun Sentinel’s Ira Winderman

“if there was any hesitancy about including an asset for Mitchell, that now could change.” pic.twitter.com/jHpiwjTL5s
Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel says, “if there was any hesitancy about including an asset for Mitchell, that now could change.”
The Heat, however, don't have the first-round capital needed, while the Nets cannot be a destination as long as Ben Simmons is on the roster, due to the max rookie extension limitation rule (i.e. a team can only trade for one player with a max rookie extension on its roster at any given time).
But if Jazz CEO Danny Ainge doesn't get his asking price—namely, a bushel of unprotected first-rounders, among other assets—he'll be "comfortable" going into the season with Mitchell still on board.
