NBA Rumors: Nets Linked To Two Free Agent Big Men

Now that Kevin Durant is back in the fold, the Brooklyn Nets can concentrate on filling out their roster around the edges. According to one source, they're showing interest in adding free agent Markieff Morris.

The less-accomplished of the Morris twins, he missed much of last season after his run-in with Nikola Jokic in November.

Morris played just 17 games for the Miami Heat and averaged 7.6 points and 2.6 rebounds in about 17 minutes per game.

Another power forward the Nets have their eye on, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, is free agent Tristan Thompson. The 31-year-old has championship pedigree and leadership qualities. This could be a selling point, considering his familiarity with Kyrie Irving, as he spent six years with him in Cleveland earlier in their careers.

Last season, Thompson played for three teams, including the Sacramento Kings and Chicago Bulls, averaging 6 points and 5.1 rebounds.
