No. 2 Pick Chet Holmgren Out For Season With Foot Injury
The Oklahoma City Thunder have confirmed that no. 2 overall pick Chet Holmgren suffered a Lisfranc fracture in his right foot and will be out for the entire 2022-23 season, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports.
Oklahoma City Thunder 7-footer Chet Holmgren will miss the 2022-2023 season with a Lisfranc injury to his right foot. Holmgren, the No. 2 pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, suffered the injury in a Pro-Am game in Seattle on Saturday.

Holmgren sustained the injury during Saturday's Pro-Am game in Seattle when he tried to defend a bulldozing LeBron James on the fastbreak.

With this news, Holmgren joins a list of top picks that missed their entire rookie season due to injury. These include Blake Griffin, Ben Simmons, and Joel Embiid.
