Portland Trail Blazers Sign Center

The Portland Trail Blazers have signed Norvell Pelle to a training camp contract. 

With this deal, Pelle will compete for a two-way roster spot on the Trail Blazers. The journeyman center appeared in just three NBA games last season with the Utah Jazz. During them, he averaged 2.0 points and 2.0 rebounds per contest.

Pelle has had trouble finding a long-term home in this league, as evidenced by him already playing for five teams in just three NBA seasons. In 40 career games, he has averaged 2.1 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 0.4 assists per contest.
