The Raptors have waived Mykhailiuk, who had started last season getting some major minutes, sometimes upwards of in the mid-30s range per game. But his three-point shooting fell off dramatically after the first two months of the season, and he was used sparingly from thereon out.
The 25-year-old, currently playing for the Ukraine national team this summer, will now be looking to latch on with his 5th NBA team after his first four years in the league.
He's averaged 6.6 points in his 220 NBA games, shooting 35.3% from three-point range. His 30% for Toronto this past season represented his career low.Mykhailiuk had already exercised his US$1.9M player option for this season, so the Raptors are still left with that cap hit.
