Detroit Pistons Sign Point Guard
The Detroit Pistons have signed Keifer Sykes to an Exhibit 10 contract.
Sykes just completed his rookie season at 28 years old, where he appeared in 32 games with the Indiana Pacers. During them, he averaged 5.6 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per contest. Overall, it's fair to say that he did fairly well when called upon, so he will be aiming to translate that over to the Pistons from here.
Sykes will now be pushing to earn himself a spot on Detroit's NBA roster from here. If he remains with the team for at least 60 days, he will land himself a bonus up to $50K, so that certainly is an extra incentive. Alas, we will need to wait and see if he can impress at camp.
