Full List of Available Free Agent Forwards As Camps Approach
With less than a week to go, teams around the NBA are putting their finishing touches on their 20-man training camp rosters. For those in need of a forward, there are plenty of available free agents still to choose from. From the biggest of names, to the young, under-the-radar set.
Let's run them down, in alphabetical order.
Power Forwards (age)
- Carmelo Anthony (38)
- Trevor Ariza (37)
- Gary Clark (28)
- Tyler Cook (25)
- Mamadi Diakite (25)
- Malik Fitts (25)
- Blake Griffin (33)
- Paul Millsap (37)
- Juwan Morgan (25)
- Jabari Parker (27)
- Reggie Perry (22)
While the aging Carmelo Anthony and Blake Griffin are the most notable names on this list, there are plenty of others, under 30, who could help some teams. Anthony's top potential landing spots span a range of big-name teams in the West.
- Justin Anderson (29)
- DeAndre’ Bembry (28)
- Keljin Blevins (27)
- Solomon Hill (31)
- Rodney Hood (30)
- Elijah Hughes (24)
- Andre Iguodala (38)

- Anthony Lamb (24)
- Didi Louzada (23)
- Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot (27)
- Alfonzo McKinnie (30)
- Abdel Nader (29)
- Miye Oni (25)
- Matt Ryan (25)
- Xavier Sneed (25)
- Tony Snell (31)
- Lance Stephenson (32)
- Robert Woodard II (23)
The list of available small forwards runs the gamut from 23-year-olds Didi Louzada and Robert Woodard II, to 32-year-old Lance Stephenson. It was thought that Stephenson would be a shoo-in to return to the Indiana Pacers after the love-in they had together in the second half of last season. But recent Pacers signings may have silenced the air guitar for now.
And the Golden State Warriors are holding a roster spot for Andre Iguodala, who will be announcing his intentions to play or retire, sometime soon on his own podcast.
