Knicks Rising Talent In Walking Boot At Knicks Practice
Quentin Grimes practiced yesterday but did not practice today due to left foot soreness. He’s in a walking book, which is viewed by NYK as a precaution. Ailment is currently seen as minor. Credit to social media sleuths (@kunal____, I think?) for seeing practice photo of Grimes.

According to Knicks Insider Ian Begley, Grimes is in a walking boot due to left foot soreness. It is currently considered a minor ailment, though he did not practice on Day 2 of camp.
Interestingly enough, the sight of Grimes in the boot was spotted by two social media sleuths in a team practice video. A video that the Knicks have since deleted from Twitter. Are they trying to hide something?
It was only yesterday that we learned that head coach Tom Thibodeau has seemingly decided already that Grimes will not be a starter this season, and he will instead turn to a veteran in the shooting guard spot.Good job by @kunal____ here spotting that the Knicks official Twitter account deleted a video of Quentin Grimes in a walking boot after today's practice (and good job by @sec_deuce2 for spotting Grimes in the boot to begin with). Hopefully nothing serious. https://t.co/zukbRhoIrc

Grimes was one of the names that emerged as untouchable in the Knicks' failed trade talks with the Utah Jazz for Donovan Mitchell.
