NBA Rumors: Top 3 Free Agent Point Guards Still Available
Dennis Schröder
He left the Los Angeles Lakers in 2021 hoping to be a main man elsewhere. That didn't materialize, and he's now a mid-level exception guy. Will he buy into a smaller role on a contender once again or will he will insist on being the main guy on a lower-echelon team? He can be a scorer and a playmaker, and can also play some defense at the position.
League sources say that Dallas has considered the addition of one more ballhandling veteran to its roster before the season starts. Mavericks executives Nico Harrison and Michael Finley were in attendance to watch Dennis Schroder lead Germany to a 3-0 start, per @TheSteinLine. pic.twitter.com/ajTmBENyRw

There were rumors earlier in the offseason that the Lakers could be interested in bringing him back, but that likely disappeared after the trade for Patrick Beverley. The Dallas Mavericks are the latest team with interest, as they're said to be interested in adding another playmaking backup for Luka Doncic.
Eric Bledsoe
The 32-year-old has 12 years of experience in the NBA, and is tough on the defensive end. He can still score a bit too, but it remains to be seen how he fares coming off a tough Achilles injury suffered in March, that ended his season.
Last year, with the Los Angeles Clippers, he notched 9.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 4.2 assists, with career marks of 13.7 points and 4.7 assists. He's not much of a shooter from the perimeter, however, firing it at 31% last season and 33% on his career.
Isaiah Thomas
Devastating injuries have robbed the former All-Star and fan favorite of his one-time explosiveness. But he can still fill it up as a shooter. He was a nice surprise in a backup role with the Charlotte Hornets in the second half of last season, and can be an energy guy off the bench for a team.
