"Rampant Bullsh*t": Brad Stevens Emotional At Celtics News Conference
The Boston Celtics faced the media Friday morning, to issue statements and answer questions regarding the one-year suspension of head coach Ime Udoka, and the fallout from it. Udoka is said to have had an inappropriate consensual sexual relationship with a team staffer.
President of basketball operations Brad Stevens got emotional when discussing the unfair speculation about the Celtics' female staffers on social media.
"We have a lot of talented women in our organization and I thought yesterday was really hard on them. Nobody can control Twitter speculation and rampant bullshit."

We have a lot of talented women in our organization & I thought yesterday was really hard on them. Nobody can control Twitter speculation & rampant BS but I do think we have a responsibility to make sure we're there to support them now.
We've seen Brad Stevens a lot over the years and this is the most emotional and upset I've ever seen him.

Stevens is normally very even-keeled, and rarely shows emotion. But observers have noted that they've never seen him that upset.
The former Celtics coach also admitted that things won't exactly be business as usual when the team reports for training camp next week.
"To think that guys on the team or coaches or anybody else in the organization can just walk back on the court and everything [is fine] is not the way it is."

The Celtics are coming off an appearance in the NBA Finals, but now will have to proceed without the head coach that took them there.
