Athletic Guard Now With 4th Team In A Month
The Toronto Raptors have swooped in and signed athletic point guard Saben Lee. It's his fourth team in a month, but the first team to sign him to an Exhibit 10 contract.

That Exhibit 10 designation makes Lee eligible for a $50,000 bonus if he stays with the G League Raptors 905 for 60 days. It allows the Raptors to have him in-house without taking up a roster spot... for now.
Lee was traded from the Detroit Pistons to the Utah Jazz in the Bojan Bogdanovic trade last month, then eventually waived by the Jazz. He signed a training camp deal with the Phoenix Suns last week before being waived again this weekend.
In his one preseason game for the Suns, Lee showed out big time in the 4th quarter with 9 points, 3 assists, 1 steal, and he even took a charge. That type of defensive intensity will win him points in the Raptors organization.
The 6'2" Lee is athletic, with a 6'9" reach (again, something Raptors coach Nick Nurse will surely value). He's also a playmaker, and yes, he can get up to the rim.

In his first two seasons in the league, with the Pistons, the 23-year-old Lee averaged 5.6 points and 3.3 assists in about 16 minutes per contest.
